Each year one or more horses and persons may be inducted into the ApHC's Hall of Fame by nominations received from members and voted on by the ApHC's Board of Directors. Only one horse and one person may be inducted into the ApHC's Racing Hall of Fame by nominations received by members and voted on by the Executive Race Committee (the horse must be deceased). In addition, if a stallion sires 40 different horses that win bronze medallions (Bronze Supreme Sire Production winner), or 16 different horses that win silver medallions (Silver Supreme Sire Production winner), or 8 different horses that win gold medallions (Gold Supreme Sire Production winner), that stallion will automatically be inducted into the ApHC's Hall of Fame. Likewise, if a mare produces 5 different bronze medallion winners (Bronze Supreme Dam Production winner), or 4 different horses that win a silver medallion (Silver Supreme Dam Production winner), or 3 different horses that win a gold medallion (Gold Supreme Dam Production winner), then that mare will automatically be inducted into the ApHC's Hall of Fame. Furthermore, the winner of a diamond medallion and his or her sire and dam will automatically be inducted into the ApHC's Hall of Fame.
