Dear Appaloosa Enthusiasts;
The Board of Directors has spent considerable
time and resources on the subject of moving our Youth World
and National Shows to Jackson, Mississippi. We have heard from
our Oversight Committee who is responsible for examining all
issues that might arise with respect to holding the shows at
the new location. After reviewing all of the information, including
input from concerned members, we have concluded that we will
hold the Youth World Show and the National Show in Jackson,
beginning in 2008.
I want to thank everybody who has taken their
time and energy to provide the Board with their concerns and
information on this sensitive subject. This conclusion was not
arrived at easily and without considerable debate. However,
the final decision has been made. We are united in our position
and will move forward toward this opportunity with enthusiasm
and excitement. Watch for new exciting announcements regarding
substantial cash awards and product awards that will be awarded
at these shows. Let’s work together to make these shows the
world class events we’ve been able to enjoy in the past. There
is much to be accomplished, and your support is needed and appreciated.
