Appaloosa Horse Club Maintains Relationship with USEF

The Appaloosa Horse Club is proud to continue its relationship with United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (USEF) as an Affiliated Association. USEF has more than 86,000 members and has relationships with approximately 100 Affiliated Associations.

ApHC members and events will continue to be governed by Appaloosa Horse Club rules. However, ApHC members are now able, as a result of our affiliate membership with USEF, to access insurance coverage at special affiliate association member-only rates. For more information, please contact Equisure at (800) 752-2472.

As an official Affiliate Association of USEF, the Appaloosa Horse Club will also receive the following benefits:

• Subscription to EQUESTRIAN Magazine
• Publication of ApHC’s contact information in EQUESTRIAN magazine
• Opportunity to submit news of our association’s activities for publication in EQUESTRIAN magazine
• Receipt of all USEF press releases, by mail or by e-mail

Visit USEF online at www.usef.org to learn more about the services offered and benefits of individual membership with USEF.

The ApHC maintains affiliate membership with several equine organizations to remain aware of issues affecting the equine industry and advocate for ApHC members, Appaloosa owners and the Appaloosa horse.

The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) was established in 1938, with a mission of preserving, promoting and enhancing the Appaloosa breed. The ApHC has since registered more than 670,000 Appaloosas, which are known for their distinctive color, intelligence and even temperament. True to their reputation as an extremely versatile breed, Appaloosas can be found in nearly every discipline, including racing, endurance riding or serving as reliable family horses. The international breed registry is headquartered in Moscow, Idaho; the heart of the Palouse region, the Appaloosa breed’s namesake and point of origin.
