The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) is pleased to announce the
Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls will perform at the 61st National
Appaloosa Show & 2008 World Championship Appaloosa Youth
Show in Jackson, Miss. June 23-July 5, 2008.
Come down to the Mississippi State Fairgrounds Friday June
27 to watch the amazing Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls perform gravity-defying
acrobatics while aboard their colorful Appaloosas. The stunts
performed will amaze spectators of all ages.
Since 1979 the members of the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls have
traveled the globe, performing at some of the most renowned
events, such as the National Finals Rodeo, Rose Parade, Equitana
and the National Cowboy Hall of Fame.

61st National Appaloosa Show & 2008 World Championship
Appaloosa Youth Show.
This exciting night continues with further displays of the
Appaloosa breed’s versatility. Immediately following the Riata
Ranch Cowboy Girls performance will be a Freestyle Reining
exhibition led by Terry Thompson, one of the reining industry’s
leading trainers and winner of the 2007 World Championship
Appaloosa Show Freestyle Reining competition.
Thompson and associates are sure to delight audiences with
creative costumes and exciting music as they lead their Appaloosas
through an intricate reining pattern.
The evening performance concludes with the finals of the Cowboy
Mounted Shooting Association (CMSA) class. Watch as shooters
barrel through an elaborate pattern aboard, make their marks
all the while aboard their Appaloosas.
Join the Appaloosa Horse Club for this exciting night of Appaloosa
talent at the Mississippi Coliseum June 27 at 7 p.m. Admission
