The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) is proud to
host author of I See Spots at the 61st National Appaloosa
Show & 2008 World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show!
I See Spots, by first time author, Kathy Rose,
is a story about learning how to deal with life's lessons,
such as love, disappointment, even death, yet remaining optimistic
through the tough times. The main characters receive help
with these experiences from some very special Appaloosa horses.
Some of the horses are based off of horses that have been
important in the author's life.
"I've always loved horses, of all types,
but it's been the Appaloosa that has found a special place
in my heart and that's why I chose to include that wonderful
breed as a center piece for I See Spots,” Ms. Rose said.
Ms. Rose graciously donated copies of I See
Spots to be awarded to each champion of the 72 youth classes,
as well as all of the participants of the Challenged Riders
Leadline class. Recipients of I See Spots can get their books
signed by Ms. Rose, who will be at the show June 27-29. Ms.
Rose will be available to sign your copy of I See Spots at
the ApHC Information Booth in the Cowboy Way Trading Post.
Books will also be available for purchase. Times to be announced.
I See Spots is published by Tate Publishing
& Enterprises, and will be released May 13, 2008. For
