It is up to the next generation
of Appaloosa enthusiasts throughout the country to elect representatives
to lead the AYA in the years to come by voting in the Appaloosa
Youth Association (AYA) Board of Directors election! Notifications
have been sent to all current AYA members.
Candidates must be current AYA members and
between the ages of 14 and 17. For a complete list of criteria,
please refer to the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) Rulebook,
which can be found at www.appaloosa.com.

After thoroughly reading each candidate’s profile, each AYA
member should select one representative in each territory
and zone. If a candidate is not listed or the choices are
not satisfactory, a write-in vote will be accepted, but must
include the city and state in which the write-in resides.
The Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC) must receive the ballot by
Dec. 15, 2009, in order for the vote to be counted. AYA members
have several voting options including printing the ballot
and returning it to the ApHC via post or fax; AYA members
may also submit votes via e-mail to youth@appaloosa.com.
