Circle The Wagon Wins Big In Maiden Race


Appaloosa Circle The Wagon drove to the finish March 13, 2011 in a 350-yard maiden race for 3-year-olds and up at Remington Park in Oklahoma City, Okla. The purse was valued at $13,900.

Circle The Wagon, a 3-year-old colt, made a driving finish with Stormy Smith aboard to cross the finish line in 17.857 seconds. The Oklahoma-bred Appaloosa won $7,920 and brought his lifetime earnings to $11,621. Circle The Wagon (Pyc Paint Your Wagon, AQHA x Perfect Intention) is proudly owned and was bred by Jeff Adams of Durant, Okla., and is trained by Leslie Padilla.

The following horses completed the race in this order: Dashin Mohawk (APHA), Quick Del Ray (APHA), High Jet Fuel (APHA), Princesa You (APHA), Flaming First Down (APHA), Audit (APHA), Treasured Heart Of Tx (APHA), Miss Texas Hold Em (ApHC) and Southern Success (APHA).
