Wanted: Human-interest stories! Share
your National Show-related story! Appaloosa Journal wants to share
stories of the show's first-time exhibitors, oldest and youngest
exhibitors, the longest haul, the biggest trailer hauled in, the
biggest group of kids, the oldest horse --- and we're open to
other ideas!

Berg (July 3 - 10) on the show grounds. Just look for on-grounds
posters or leave a note in the show office with your name and
cell phone or stall numbers. |

Committee Meeting!
The meeting will be held Friday, July 2, 2004 during
the 2004 World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show and 57th National
Appaloosa Show. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. in
the ApHC Meeting Room located on the SE Concourse of the State Fair
Arena. All non-pro’s are invited to attend! |

Appaloosa Youth
Association General Membership Meeting!
Located in Barn 3 Concourse at 10:00am on Sunday June
27, 2004, this meeting will take place for all interested youth
members. Learn more about what’s going on in the Appaloosa
Youth Association and meet your Youth Directors! Free ice cream
will be served and there will be a fun water balloon contest for
everyone to enjoy! |

DNA KIT SALE
The DNA kit sale of $25 per kit
was created in an effort to assist mare owners with the requirement
of DNA testing. However, due to the loss of revenue the ApHC has
experienced with the DNA kit sale, the price of DNA kits for mares
is increasing to $35 effective September 1, 2004. This sale will
run through 2005 and then the kits will return to $50 each.
