ACAAP fee changes
for 2005
Enrollment in the Appaloosa Competitive All-breed Activities
Program (ACAAP) is growing again! As of August 18, 2004, 598 horses
are enrolled in ACAAP, an increase of 6% over last year's total
enrollment! Thank you to everyone who has taken advantage of the
"Spread the Word" promotion this year and shared this
exciting program with other Appaloosa owners!
ACAAP is changing to serve
you better! Beginning in 2005, ACAAP enrollment will be $25 for
members and $50 for nonmembers. This fee will enroll you in the
program for one calendar year and covers the cost of submitting
show results for your first 10 shows (judges) each year. The merit
processing fee for shows after the first 10 will be just $2 per
horse/judge. This change was made at the request of a majority
of ACAAP participants. Thank you to everyone who took the time
to share their thoughts through ACAAP surveys, e-mails, and phone
calls. Research has shown that most ACAAP participants benefit
from this change by paying just one fee for all ACAAP services.
It will also eliminate recurring currency conversion problems
for international customers, making it easier for them to participate.
Please watch your Hoof Prints newsletter, contact the ACAAP Coordinator
at (208) 882-5578 ext. 224, or e-mail to acaap@appaloosa.com
for more details. |
