Foundation Pedigree Designation
| Enrolling in the Foundation Pedigree Designation is a great way to show pride in your Appaloosa’s heritage and ensure its eligibility in regional show FPD classes. The FPD classification on your horse’s certificate of registration will provide proof of Appaloosa bloodlines and important clues to breeding potential. |

|
By taking notice of valuable foundation bloodlines, breeders have been able to select desired qualities such as conformation, soundness, athletic ability and Appaloosa characteristics.
Visit the ApHC Web site at www.appaloosa.com/downloadableforms.shtm
for enrollment forms, or apply when registering or transferring horses. If you have questions or would like a free printout of horses that may be eligible, contact the registration department at (208) 882-5578 ext. 300 or
registration@appaloosa.com.

Youths — Sponsor a class
Members of the Appaloosa Youth Association are gathering class sponsorships for their annual fundraiser. Class sponsors not only support the AYA and show enthusiasm for a particular class, but will also receive recognition during the World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show through announcements, on posters, and in The Network, a daily publication circulated throughout the show.
Class sponsorships are offered at the following rates:
· $100 for the first class
· $50 each additional class
Each AYA director is encouraged to obtain at least $200 in donations each year.
This money helps fund AYA programs, activities, and awards throughout the
year. AYA directors may acquire donations by securing class sponsorships for
either the World Championship Appaloosa Youth Show/National Appaloosa Horse Show or the World Championship Appaloosa Show.
To sponsor a class, download an application at
www.appaloosa.com/NationalShow.shtm or contact your nearest AYA
director. For more information, contact Youth Coordinator Mandi Knapp at (208)
882-5578 ext. 264 or Marketing Coordinator Jill Williams at ext. 282.
