World Sale Catalog & New Journal Preview

New this year—The October issue of Appaloosa Journal will feature a Sale Preview section. Sale horse owners are able to purchase an 1/8th page color space in this section for only $100! Also, don't forget—the October issue will also be at the World Equestrian Games where it will be receiving triple it's normal ciruclation!


World Sale Preview

Consigners will showcase their horses' talents to potential buyers on October 26, 2010. The sale preview will begin at the conclusion of the day's classes, tentatively scheduled for 6 p.m. in the Watt Arena.

Stallion Service Auction

The third annual Stallion Service Auction will take place during the 2010 World Show. Online bidding will be available. Bidding begins Friday, October 22, and ends at noon October 30. If there are any unsold services, the auction will re-open November 1 and continue through January 31, 2011. Visit the website to view the stallion showcase and more information.

Reminder—Deceased Appaloosas

When your beloved Appaloosa passes away, please notify the ApHC by submitting the registered name of the horse, registration number, and month, day and year of death. Your assistance with this matter means integrity in your Appaloosa Horse Club data. An official ApHC pedigree, printed on beautiful parchment paper depicting several Appaloosa disciplines, and suitable for framing, is always a nice way to memorialize your faithful Appaloosa partner.

Regional club updated membership rosters are due September 10th. Please submit via fax, e-mail or snail mail.

Help your regional club's membership grow with a free mailing list from the ApHC—a great way to locate Appaloosa owners who might be interested in joining your club. An officer of the regional club must request the list.

Stallion Breeding Reports

If your stallion was used for ApHC breeding purposes in 2010, it's not too early to take advantage of one-time fees for filing stallion breeding reports; $10 plus $4 per mare. Avoid paying late charges and have your stallion breeding report postmarked by November 30, 2010. Stallion breeding reports are available at www.appaloosa.com.
