Are you ready for the 2018 show season? Get your head into the game and spend a few days learning from some of the industry’s top professionals this spring. Whether you are an exhibitor, trainer, aspiring or carded judge, show manager or secretary, this unique event has something for everyone who is striving for success in the show ring. Horse Show Education Seminar (March 15 - 16)

In two days, you’ll receive in-depth instruction on what today’s judges are looking for in halter, showmanship, Western pleasure, hunter under saddle, Western horsemanship, hunt seat equitation, trail, Western riding, reining, and ranch horse classes. This course is perfect for exhibitors who want to understand the judging process and improve their placings, as well as trainers and judge applicants. The seminar is required for all APHA/ApHC/NSBA European judge applicants and carded judges. It is highly recommended for AQHA judges and those planning to apply for an AQHA judge’s card.
Instructors: Patti Carter (AQHA) and David Dellin (APHA/NSBA).
Fee: 175€ on or before February 19 / 200€ on or after February 20.

Judge Applicant Testing (March 17)

Rulebook testing, video testing, and interviews for APHA, AQHA, ApHC and NSBA judge applicants. ( A separate judge application and fees must be submitted selected association(s) prior to registration for testing ).
Testing Fee:
75€ on or before February 19 / 100€ on or after February 20.
Registration fees include instruction, handouts, lunch, and coffee breaks. Other meals, lodging, and travel costs are not included. Save 25€ per session when you register on or before February 19 (payment must be received by that date). Registrations and payments are accepted until March 5 or until the event sells out. However, to make sure we have enough materials on hand, we kindly ask that you register as early as possible.

Show Management Seminar

There is also a show management seminar beginning on March 17 for those individuals wishing to learn about conducting AQHA or APHA shows. Please contact those associations for more information and to register if you’re interested in attending that event.
